Groups, Large and Small, Are Welcome at Grants!

Grant’s Kennebago Lake Camps are located 9 miles behind a controlled gate in the Western mountains of Maine. First started in 1904, it remains a favorite destination for fishermen, families and special occasions. With 18 lakeside cabins, we can accommodate small groups or functions, and larger groups up to 60 guests. All cabins have electric heat, and many of our guests enjoy the warmth and the crackling sound of a wood fire. The cabins have screened porches with rockers where you can relax, listen to the loons and watch the sunset over West Kennebago Mountain. In front of each cabin is a dock with a traditional Rangeley boat with motor for your use. Three meals are provided and we will be happy to assist you if you have special requests such as hors d' oeuvers, a wine and cheese hour, tents, flowers, live music and of course special wedding cakes. There are two options for meeting areas, depending on the size. The large natural pine, fireplaced dining room with spectacular views of the lake and mountains can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests. Small groups of 12 and under prefer to hold their meetings in the office/lodge overlooking the lake. Available for your use is a 35MM slide projector, an eight-foot screen, a dry erase board (board, markers and eraser), flip chart with easel, pad and markers and a TV/VCR Combo. Our staff looks forward to making sure that your function and stay with us, is stress free and full of great memories.

We have hosted weddings that were both formal and informal. Couples have taken their vows inside, in front of the windows overlooking the lake, on the dock, and even out on the lake in one of our Rangeley boats. Consider having your wedding with us in this breathtaking lakeside setting, far from the cares of the outside world - a virtual paradise for artists, naturalists, fishermen and lovers.
